About Achieve CMO

Achieve CMO provides fractional marketing services to growing companies.  Rather than hiring a full-time marketing leader, we work on a fractional basis for 20-40 hours per month. We start with a strategy meeting, where we establish KPIs and build out a project backlog, prioritized on the tasks that will move the company forward the most. We then go into execution mode and start knocking off the projects one-by-one.

Marketing Director

We’re looking for a Marketing Director based in Utah to support our Fractional CMOs with client work. This is an execution-focused role that involves marketing strategy implementation, campaign management, and reporting—but does not require direct client interactions. Over time, this role has the potential to grow into a Fractional CMO position.

Who You Are

You’re a versatile marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-client environment. You have a strong understanding of marketing strategy, but you also love getting things done—executing campaigns, managing assets, and driving results. You’re highly organized, proactive, and tech-savvy.

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Execution: Assist Fractional CMOs in implementing marketing strategies across various clients.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
  • Content Development: Write and edit content for websites, social media, email, and sales materials.
  • Paid & Organic Growth: Assist with SEO, PPC, social media, and email marketing efforts.
  • Marketing Operations: Set up and manage marketing tools, CRM integrations, and reporting dashboards.
  • Project Management: Coordinate tasks, ensure deliverables are met, and keep projects on track.
  • Sales Enablement: Create and refine marketing collateral, presentations, and client reports.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track campaign performance, analyze data, and generate insights.

Job Qualifications:

  • Must be based in Utah (Remote work with occasional in-person meetings)
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing execution, campaign management, and strategy
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, email, social)
  • Experience with marketing tools and CRM platforms (HubSpot, Zoho, HighLevel, etc.)
  • Exceptional organizational skills—can manage multiple tasks without missing details
  • Excellent writing and editing skills for marketing materials and campaigns
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks
  • Bonus: Experience in B2B marketing, SaaS, construction, healthcare, or professional services

Salary & Benefits:

Fractional CMO

As a Fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), you will provide high-level strategic marketing leadership to businesses part-time or project-based. Your role will be crucial in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive growth, enhance brand presence, and maximize customer engagement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage your expertise to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the Sprint Planning section of new client kickoff meetings
  • Send weekly status emails with the previous week’s results
  • Lead weekly project calls with the client
  • Lead monthly strategy meetings:
    • Prepare slides that present completed work
    • Reprioritize the project backlog
    • Plan the next month’s Sprint with clear definitions of what “done” looks like
  • Complete projects and tasks in a timely manner
  • Produce high-quality work that leads to results
  • Help your client increase revenue
  • Participate in CMO training and group discussions
  • Success is measured by: 
    • Client retention
    • Customer satisfaction
    • Profitability

Job Qualifications

  • 10+ Years in Marketing-Specific Jobs
  • 2+ Years in Executive/Leadership Roles
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
  • Strong Technology Background
  • Project Management and Time Management Skills
